Hi! My name is Abbie. I'm a student at Old Dominion University where I am completing my B.S. in communication, with an emphasis in public relations, advocacy and persuasion.  I am also completing a minor in marketing.  All of that basically means that I'm learning what makes an organization "click" with its public in a way that profits the business and grows relationships - and how to talk about it! 

Work Stuff

I have worked for three years in the field of elder law as a legal assistant and paralegal, where I greatly enjoy working one-on-one with clients and managing a caseload.  I also do volunteer and freelance work with several non-profit organizations and businesses to improve communication processes, streamline marketing campaigns, and create a distinct brand and social media presence.
